Boycott - On the Necessity of Angry Knowledge

I recently published an essay in the American literary-critical journal College Literature, reviewing several books on the academic boycott of Israeli universities and its implications for academic freedom.   A link to this essay has now been posted on the blog of the Modern Language Association Members for Justice in Palestine grouping - the Modern Language Association being the major professional association of North American scholars of literature.  I am posting that link here now, and also a link to an earlier article of mine on Electronic Intifada, which marked the launch in 2014 of Academics for Palestine, the primary Irish campaigning group for the academic boycott.

Firstly, the EI piece:

Ireland invented boycotts, so let’s use them to demand justice for Palestine
